Green Onions

Grown in the Mexicali and San Luis valleys, which have the unique climate to produce the best quality green onions in the world, Altar's green onions are fresh, crisp, and always tender. Our green onions are hand-harvested, bunched, and trimmed in the fields, then transferred to our packing shed to be hydro-cooled and top iced. Altar's specifications are always consistent: 12" in length, with the roots trimmed to 3/8". Always a straight, green flute, with a white shank no longer than 4".
